1. About My Services

Gin’s Menopause Coaching provides menopause education, lifestyle guidance, wellbeing support and coaching.

Services may include one-to-one coaching, personalised menopause reviews, reports, action plans, videos, coaching programmes and digital resources.

The exact service you receive will be described at the time of booking or purchase.

2. Menopause Coaching Is Not Medical Care

My services provide coaching, education and lifestyle support. They do not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication or instruct clients to start, stop or change prescribed medication or HRT.

We may discuss menopause symptoms, HRT, medications, supplements, nutrition, lifestyle and possible options to explore. This information is provided to help you understand your choices and have informed conversations with your GP, menopause specialist, pharmacist or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

If you develop new, severe, rapidly worsening or concerning symptoms, please seek appropriate medical advice. Gin’s Menopause Coaching is not an emergency medical service.

3. Client Responsibilities

By working with Gin’s Menopause Coaching, you agree to:

Be open and honest during coaching sessions and when completing questionnaires.

Provide accurate and relevant information about your health, medications, HRT, supplements, allergies and medical history where appropriate.

Take responsibility for your own decisions, actions and outcomes.

Understand that coaching is a collaborative process and does not guarantee specific results.

Seek appropriate medical advice for health concerns, new or worsening symptoms, or before making changes to prescribed medication, HRT or medical treatment.

Consider whether lifestyle, nutrition, exercise or wellbeing suggestions are appropriate for your individual circumstances.

The guidance I provide is based on the information you give me. If relevant information is incomplete or inaccurate, this may affect the guidance and support I am able to provide.

You remain responsible for your own health and wellbeing decisions. Gin’s Menopause Coaching is here to provide education, guidance and support to help you make informed choices.

4. Booking & Payment

Prices and payment arrangements will be displayed when you book or purchase a service.

Payments may be processed through Stripe or PayPal.

Your booking or purchase is confirmed once the required payment has been successfully received.

I may change prices from time to time, but this will not affect a service you have already purchased.

5. Appointments & Cancellations

If you need to rearrange or cancel an appointment, please give at least 48 hours' notice.

With at least 48 hours' notice, I will normally allow your appointment to be rearranged without charge.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may be treated as used and may not be refunded or rearranged.

Genuine emergencies or exceptional circumstances may be considered at my discretion.

If I need to cancel an appointment, I will offer an alternative appointment.

If you arrive late, your session may still need to finish at the original scheduled time.

6. Personalised Services

Personalised reports, menopause reviews, plans and videos are prepared specifically for you using the information you provide.

Once I have begun reviewing your questionnaire, researching your circumstances or preparing your personalised materials, the service will be considered to have started.

If you cancel after work has begun, any refund will take account of the work already completed and your statutory rights.

Personalised materials are for educational and coaching purposes and are not medical reports, diagnoses, prescriptions or treatment plans.

7. Digital Products

Digital products may include guides, discovery packs, planners, videos, PDFs and other downloadable resources.

Where you request immediate access to digital content, you may be asked to expressly consent to receiving it immediately and acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel may be lost once supply begins.

Digital products are supplied for your personal use only.

Nothing in this section affects rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Coaching Programmes

Where you purchase a package or coaching programme containing several sessions, sessions should be used within the timeframe stated when you purchase the programme.

Unused sessions may expire after that period unless otherwise agreed.

If your programme includes messaging support, this is provided within the working hours and boundaries explained when you purchase your programme.

Messaging support is not an emergency medical service and does not guarantee an immediate response.

9. Results

Every menopause experience is different, so I cannot guarantee a particular result from coaching.

Results can be influenced by your health, medical history, lifestyle, medications, HRT, personal circumstances and many other factors.

I cannot guarantee symptom resolution, weight loss, a particular response to HRT or medication, or that a healthcare professional will prescribe a particular treatment.

My role is to provide education, support and practical strategies to help you better understand your menopause and make informed decisions about your health and wellbeing.

10. Privacy, Confidentiality & Client Records

Your personal and health information will be treated confidentially and handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy, UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Health information you provide may be classed as special category personal data and will be handled accordingly.

In accordance with the requirements of my professional insurance policy with Westminster Insurance, relevant client records are retained for 7 years following the end of our coaching relationship or the last service provided, as applicable.

Information may only be disclosed where permitted or required by law, where you have authorised disclosure, or where reasonably necessary in connection with professional or insurance obligations or legal proceedings.

Please see my Privacy Policy for full information about how your data is collected, used, stored and protected.

11. Intellectual Property

Materials created by Gin’s Menopause Coaching, including reports, videos, guides, plans, worksheets, questionnaires, graphics and educational resources, remain my intellectual property unless otherwise stated.

When you purchase a service or digital product, you are given permission to use the materials for your personal, non-commercial use.

Materials must not be copied, sold, commercially distributed, republished or presented as your own without my written permission.

12. Ending Services & Complaints

Either of us may end the coaching relationship, subject to the cancellation and payment terms that apply to your service.

I may end a coaching relationship where professional boundaries are repeatedly breached, there is abusive or inappropriate behaviour, payment obligations are not met, or I believe your needs fall outside my professional scope.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of my service, please contact me so that I have the opportunity to address your concerns:

[email protected]

13. General Terms

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so or removes any statutory consumer rights.

Gin’s Menopause Coaching cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability where services are affected by circumstances reasonably outside my control, such as illness, internet outages or disruption to third-party services. Where possible, affected appointments will be rearranged.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The current version will be available on my website.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

By purchasing or booking a service, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to read these Terms & Conditions and my Privacy Policy.
